Welcome to the January 2019 issue of aNUkriti. We hope this new year is a harbinger of all that is auspicious and happy for you. NUtons are known for their social awareness skills, and they proved this once again by being part of the Swachch Bharat Abhiyaan and participating in the paper recycling event. Nanhi Chaan was successfully organised in December 2018 and brought around 32 students from different schools together. By the time it was over, we saw some strong friendships formed between participants of different regions. Two of the participants have published their works in this issue of aNUkriti. Do check out the poem by Tapish Rawat, written after the session at Astachal and the report written by Aparna Girish for her school about the Nanhi Chaan programme.
The final year batch, before leaving the campus enjoyed a farewell party thrown by their juniors. We are told they had a gala time and made some everlasting memories. With placements over and everyone sure of hitting the worklife senario from January 2019, it was obvious that this party, the last one with batchmates, as students
must have been enjoyed to the fullest.
With this I sign off. I, along with my newsletter team of student editors hope that you will like the contents.
