TEDx University partnered up with Nazariya, an LGBTQ+ organization. Nazariya, a queer youth alliance and a social justice advocacy group based in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Aizawl. They hold a safe space for the intersectional communities of the society and a platform for their voice. The name reflects the group’s mission to make marginalized perspectives heard.<\/p>\n
They visited NU campus on 5th February, 2020. This eventful day was filled with invigorating activities including a movie on the LGBTQ+ community. Students also got to involve themselves in fun games and team-building exercises. This workshop not only helped in sensitizing the students about what LGBTQ+ represents but also encouraged them to accept themselves and others\u2019 identity and beliefs.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
