As part of an ongoing series \u201cLearn from Masters\u201d, NIIT University invited Prof. P. Balaram, Padma Bhushan Awardee and Former Director, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore for a webinar. The webinar, \u201cReflections on Chemistry and Biology in the Age of the Coronavirus\u201d, was held July 3, 2021, from 05:30 PM to 07:00 PM. Prof. Balaram was formally introduced by Prof. Ashok Misra, Member, Board of Management, NIIT University, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, and Former Director, IIT Bombay.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Prof. Balaram spoke about his success and education giving insights on chemistry and biology and how it is affecting Coronavirus. Since Prof, Balaram completed his Masters from IIT Kanpur, followed by Ph.D.\u00a0in Chemistry from Carnegie-Mellon University, USA, after which he served as a Research Associate at Harvard University, he knew a great deal about the topic. He amazed the audience with his knowledge. The webinar concluded with a \u2018question and answers session where interesting questions were asked by NU faculty, esteemed guests, and NU students which made the interaction even more engaging.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
