The theatre workshop held on 14 April and 15<\/span> April 2022 was a fun workshop on Street Theatre. Artist in Residence in collaboration with Rangmanch NU brought us an exclusive two-day workshop\u00a0by the\u00a0theatre\u00a0world giant Shilpi Marwaha. Shilpi Mawaha is a respected personality in the\u00a0Theatre\u00a0world and is known for her fiery and outspoken Street Plays. <\/span>Ms. Shilpi Mawaha<\/span> has been with us at the University in 2014, 2017, and 2019 and she has also trained students of the university in the past.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

There was a lot of fun as students practiced for 2 days rigorously from 9 AM to 11 PM. The workshop helped students brainstorm and unveil the actors inside them in ways that astounded everyone.\u00a0<\/span>The main purpose of this workshop was to enjoy and learn, as\u00a0practical experience in theatre\u00a0teaches you a lot that conventional books and lectures are not capable of.\u00a0<\/span> The workshop was incredibly fun and educational for all participants and also worked as a break from the stress of exams.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Ms. Marwaha divided t<\/span>he participants into groups and made them d<\/span>evelop their own short street plays on social topics. After IngeNUity 2022, the participants of the Street Play Workshop presented 3 plays to the university which were much appreciated by the audience.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
