The day of celebration commenced with the flag hoisting ceremony by Maj. Gen. AK Singh (Dean Student Affairs), followed by the rendition of the national anthem across the bowl area of the university. On account of rain, the celebration then transitioned to the auditorium where the attendees were immersed in to a pool of inspiring performances filled with the spirit of freedom.<\/p>\n
Furthermore, the program evolved into a variety of solo and group performances. Debsoc NU, the debating society, astounded the audience with their poignant elocutions, while NU Impetus, the Dance Society, set the stage on fire with their energetic moves. NU Kavishaala, the Poetic Society, delivered inspiring verses, and NU Verismo, the singing society, moved the crowd with their soul stirring tunes. The audience erupted into cheers as Rangmanch NU, the theatrical society, presented their \u201cNukkad Natak\u201d that embodied the spirit\u00a0of\u00a0“Azadi”. The crowd burst into applause during the prize distribution ceremony which was further followed by moving speeches from the University\u2019s Captain, and Vice-Captain. The celebration concluded on a wholesome note, with an exciting announcement from Team SiNUsoid, declaring the commencement of their donation drive for IndradhaNUsh.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
