This was followed by the felicitation of the Guest Speaker, Prof. Gurendra Nath Bhardwaj, NIIT University, Neemrana, with a bouquet and memento by the Hon&#8217;ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ajay Taneja, in the presence of the Dean, Faculty of Legal Studies, Prof. Masood Alam, and the Head of the Department, Dr Piyush Kumar Trivedi.<\/p>\n<p>In his inaugural address, Vice Chancellor Prof. Ajay Taneja spoke about the five villages adopted by the university, Allu Nagar, Diguria, Kakoli, Rahodapurwa, and highlighted the university&#8217;s outreach initiatives through NSS, Rovers &amp; Rangers. He also informed the audience that the university had recently applied for membership under the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan.<\/p>\n<p>The Chief Guest, Prof. Gurendra Nath Bhardwaj, who has over 25 years of experience in rural development and capacity-building initiatives, delivered a session on the role of higher education institutions in rural development and economic prosperity. He discussed the focus areas of Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, including sustainable agriculture, climate-resilient crops, water resource management, renewable energy, rural infrastructure development, essential services, skill development, promotion of rural industries, and sustainable livelihood creation.<\/p>\n<p>The workshop was attended by Dr Poonam Chaudhary (Department of History), Dr. Rajkumar Singh, Dr. Jaha Ara Zaidi (Department of Hindi), Dr. Mamta Shukla (Department of Biotechnology), Dr. Ruchita Sujai (Department of Journalism), Dr. Ratnesh Singh, Dr. Ashish Shahi, Dr. Krishna Mukund, Dr. Anshul Pandey, Dr. Aradhana, Dr. Dhirendra, and several other faculty members.<\/p>\n<p>The event was attended by more than 80 participants, including local villagers, students, and faculty members from various departments of the university.
