An invited talk was organized on the topic “National Education Policy 2019: A New Vision for Higher Education in India” by Dr Viraj Kumar who is a Visiting Professor at the Divecha Centre for Climate Change at IISc Bangalore and is the Vice-Chairman of ACM India’s Special Interest Group on CS Education. The talk was about how our India-centred education system contributes directly to transform our nation sustainably into an equitable and vibrant knowledge society, by providing high quality education to all.
