Independence day

Independence Day was celebrated at NIIT University on 15th August. The flag was unfurled by President Prof. V S Rao Sir. The crowd enjoyed the amazing music performances by the NU Music Society as well as the dance performance. Speeches were delivered by the debating club, the captain of the university and many more about the topics that  sensitize and spread the importance of nationality, unity and the general awareness about your duty as a citizen. Prizes were also given to the deserving staff members as well as the winners of Digital Poster making competition.

On this day the launch of plastic free campus by Maj Gen A K Singh Sir was declared. This campaign is a step from our side as a responsibility towards the nature. From that day, the use of plastic is banned in the campus and all goods that can be replaced are taken care of. The day ended with the distribution of sweets.
