HackNU 3.0

The Centre for Innovation, Incubation, and Entrepreneurship (CIIE) organized HackNU 3.0, a 19-day hackathon from March 10th to 29th, 2021. Students participated to innovate and find solutions to real-world problems. This time HackNU was organized in collaboration with DevFolio which is India’s largest and fastest-growing community of builders.

Students had to register with a unique idea and concept by March 7th, 2021. The Ideathon round began on 10th March 2021 where students were supposed to develop their idea into a feasible solution to a real-world problem and present it to the jury. After the Ideathon, students would start working on the prototype that began on March 15th, 2021, and the final deadline to submit the prototype and working demo was on March 29th, 2021. The students also had to write a blog as part of the Blogathon, on Hashnode, before March 29th, 2021.

Many teams participated in this edition of HackNU where they collaborated on Discord Servers and Github to extensively ideate and build a prototype amongst various areas like Automation, Voice, AR/VR, AutoTech, Retail Tech, FinTech, Covid-19, and many more. The hackathon was aimed at a complete solution right from idea creation to Marketing and the team with the best performance in all aspects would eventually make it to the top in this intense competition.
