Session on ‘Tips and Tricks to be a Successful IT Professional’
Uddalak Bhaduri of B. Tech IV, hosted a session on the evening of 24th of September 2018 on ‘Tips and Tricks to be a Successful IT Professional’. Aim of this session was to educate the students as to how they should invest their time and energy in order to get the optimum results in terms of securing good placements in tech giants such as IBM, Google, and Amazon. Topics of the session ranged from projects, internships & research opportunities, competitive programming (ACM ICPC, CodeChef, HackerRank, Spoj, etc.), hackathons, choosing the correct specialization/electives etc.
