Lecture on Linear Regression

An offline lecture on Linear Regression: Normal Equations and Gradient Descent was held on March 8 2025 in LT-211. The session lead by Dr. Anand Soman proved to be insightful highlighting topics such as ML, Computer Vision, and DIP, whilst focusing on AI theory, real-world applications, and industry-oriented approaches to machine learning. The lecture included illustrative examples and discussions that reinforced core concepts. Attendees were also introduced to comparative analysis between traditional and modern regression techniques.
