Essay Writing Competition

On April 25, 2025, NIIT University hosted a University -wide Essay Writing Competition from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM in LT 202, open to all undergraduate and postgraduate students. The competition aimed to encourage critical thinking and reflection on the topic: “Bridging the Urban-Rural Education Gap: The Role of NEP 2020 in Inclusive Growth.”

Participants showcased thoughtful arguments and insightful perspectives on how the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 can help create a more inclusive and equitable educational landscape in India.

After careful evaluation, Pragya from the MTech batch was declared the winner and awarded the first prize of ₹1000 for her compelling and well-structured essay. Naman Mani from the CSE batch of 2023 secured the second prize of ₹500, recognized for his analytical depth and clarity of thought. The third prize of ₹200 was jointly awarded to Vadhana Sri (MTech batch) and Tanya Rishikesh (CSE batch of 2023) for their insightful contributions.

The event was a successful platform for academic engagement and intellectual discourse, reflecting NIIT University’s commitment to fostering informed, socially aware, and articulate individuals.
