NU Students’ Research Paper Accepted at IEEE ICCA 2025

On August 13, 2025, NIIT University received the confirmation that a research paper authored by students Sarabjoth Bhatia and Avijith Manikandan has been accepted for oral presentation at the 2025 International Conference on Computer and Applications (ICCA) and for publication in the IEEE/ICCA’25 proceedings, indexed in SCOPUS.

The paper is titled, “Towards Seamless Text-to-ISL Translation: A Hybrid Framework and Comprehensive Review,” and has been written under the guidance of Dr. Vikas Upadhyaya.

This accomplishment highlights NU’s commitment to fostering impactful research in areas that blend technology along with inclusivity and accessibility. By contributing to the growing body of work in sign language translation, the research emphasizes the university’s focus on innovation with social relevance.
