Ethnic Day Celebrates Culture and Heritage at NIIT University

The team at IngeNUity, the Annual Cultural Fest of NIIT University, successfully organised Riwayat, the Ethnic Day 2026, on January 31, 2026, at Courtyard-2, drawing approximately 150 participants for a vibrant cultural celebration. The event aimed to honour India’s rich heritage by encouraging students and faculty to showcase traditional attire, delicacies, music, and games in an inclusive festive environment.

The celebration began at 12:00 PM with students arriving in diverse ethnic outfits, transforming the venue into a colourful cultural showcase. Ethnic-themed decorations further elevated the festive atmosphere and created an inviting space for attendees.

Food stalls serving a variety of traditional and popular items became a major attraction, while the energetic DJ session kept the crowd engaged with a mix of classic and contemporary tracks. Fun games and interactive activities added to the excitement, promoting teamwork and friendly competition among participants.

The event concluded at 6:00 PM on a high note, successfully fostering cultural appreciation, campus bonding, and joyful student engagement.
