NU Music Society at BITS, Pilani

The NU Music Society performed tremendously well in BITS, Pilani- Oasis, India’s third largest cultural fest. Out of about 60 participants, two finalists were selected in the Western female solo competition, and both were from NIIT University, Sanya Kapoor and Shubhra Pandey. Muskan Goel was one of the two finalists selected for the Eastern female solo competition which also had a participation of about 60 people. In the solo guitar competition too, Yuvraj Singh and Deeptonabho Dutta were two of the four finalists. In the solo drums competition, Kawal Nain Singh made it to the top 8, out of about 25 participants. In the finals, Shubhra Pandey bagged the first prize in Western female solo singing. Keerthana Reddy bagged the second prize in Indian Classical Singing. The other participants also performed their best.
