Smart India Hackathon
NIIT University in association with CIIE, organised the first level of Smart India Hackathon 2020 (SIH). This is the Internal Hackathon for both hardware and software based problems on campus which was held on 27th-28th January 2020. SIH is a nationwide initiative organised by MHRD to provide students a platform to solve pressing problems we face in our daily lives, and thus inculcate a culture of product innovation and a mindset of problem solving. A total of 17 teams came up with their best step forward providing possible solutions of selected problem statements. They presented their ideas and prototypes in front of an esteemed panel of judges. 7 out of these 19 teams were shortlisted based on their innovation, scalability and potential to represent NU in Smart India Hackathon 2020.
