Ideathon

IIC- MHRD’s Innovation Cell announced the 2nd edition of IIC National Innovation Contest 2020. Teams were formed at NU from all the batches. The Ideathon was the first of its kind activity which was organized for 28 days (1st to 28th April) at NU during which every team had shown full dedication and spirit of healthy competition. Students presented their ideas online on various themes to the judges from NU faculty (Prof Eswaran Narasimhan and Mr. Akhlesh Agarwal). Two workshops were organized by the judges to guide students on ‘Development of Proof of Concept’ and ‘Prototype Design and Development’. Top 6 teams qualified which will now represent NIIT University on National level by participating in IIC National Innovation Challenge 2020. The teams and their topics are:

1. BlindEye (Abhinav Gupta, Shresth Rana, Ayush Gupta, Jatin Singhal)
2. Electrolife (Bhavya Narang, Siddharth Sharma, Anushree Krishania, Tanish Gupta)
3. Purivana (Anjan Neema, Yash jain, Manasi charlu)
4. Blindspot detection for Heavy vehicles (Varun Bisht, Astha Kumar, Ritik Chugh, Sandhya Chettiar)
5. Surface to Screen (Shreyans Jain, Pearl Miglani, Sathya Narayan Bhat, Sahil Singh)
6. Autonomous Artistic Portrait Creator (Mohammed faisal, Nidhi Khemka, Harsh Parmar, Sristi Agrawal)
