Talk on Cybersecurity in India by Mr Ajay Prakash Sawhney

An online talk On cybersecurity in India was organized in NIIT University on Saturday, January 22nd by Mr. Ajay Prakash Sawhney, Secretary, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India. During the talk, Mr. Sawhney talked about the state of cybersecurity in India and how students, faculty members, universities can contribute to it and how they can do it. The talk was scheduled between 11:00 AM and 12:30 AM but was then rescheduled between 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM due to some avoidable circumstances. The talk was very educational and time worthy. Students and faculty members too found it very inspiring and educational. Our speaker Mr. Ajay Prakash Sawhney is currently, Secretary, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India. He is also a 1984 batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer of Andhra Pradesh cadre. Mr. Sawhney has served in various key positions for both the Government of India and the governments of his cadre and much more. All his accomplishments are very impressive as was his talk on cybersecurity.
