National Security Day & Women’s Day

The security forces of the country work day and night through tremendously adverse conditions to ensure that the citizens are protected from every form of threat and can sleep peacefully. Therefore, March 4, 2023, was observed as National Security Day each year to recognize their enormous efforts to safeguard the nation. This year marked the 50th anniversary of National Security Day. The day, also known as the Rashtriya Suraksha Diwas, is dedicated to the soldiers, police officers, commandos, and other personnel who have stepped up to protect the country. 

The celebration of International Women’s Day can offer encouragement, highlight accomplishments, and motivate research communities to keep up the pressure on for genuine gender equality. The goal of the March 8, 2023, International Women’s Day celebration was to highlight the accomplishments of women and the struggle for gender equality.

On both days, NIIT University administered an online quiz, and on March 10, 2023, at 5:00 PM, in MR 301, discussions on both subjects were held.
