Van Mahotsav

On July 28, 2023, a vibrant celebration of nature and community unfolded at NIIT University as the campus came together to observe “Van Mahotsav,” the annual tree-planting festival. Both the university community and the locals of Neemrana, the surrounding area, enthusiastically participated in this event, which was aimed at highlighting the value of trees and nature conservation.

At 11:00 AM, the inaugural ceremony took place, with attendees assembling at the university’s North Eastern Point. The ceremony served as a poignant reminder of the vital role trees play in maintaining ecological balance and supporting life on Earth. Attendees were welcomed by the lush green surroundings as they prepared to contribute to the growth of this green haven.

Under the overarching theme of Van Mahotsav, participants engaged in tree-planting activities throughout the day. Together, representatives of the university, Neemrana, and even off-campus students planted saplings as a sign of their dedication to environmental sustainability.
