Students Excel in CyberForHer Hackathon

We are excited to share that three talented students from NIIT University—Ayushi Ananta, Gayathri, and Bhavika Pawar— Batch of 2023, were selected to participate in Phase 2 of the prestigious CyberForHer Hackathon. Organized by the Data Security Council of India (DSCI) and EY, this event took place on January 28, 2025, at the Scope Convention Centre in New Delhi. The competition, held in a Capture the Flag (CTF) format, tested the participants in key cybersecurity domains including Reverse Engineering, Digital Forensics, Web Security, and Cyber Exploitation.

The team’s journey in Phase 1 focused on raising cyber awareness by creating an impactful poster and video on identifying the red flags of online scams. In Phase 2, they competed with 200 other teams, testing their skills under real-world cybersecurity scenarios. Their participation not only helped them sharpen their technical abilities but also provided an excellent opportunity to network with industry leaders and gain hands-on experience in tackling critical cyber threats.
