On February 24 2025, the inaugural NUWCL concluded after 21 matches between 8 teams. Shadow Strikers won the tournament, with Kingfishers as runners-up. Rishika was the highest wicket taker, Kumkum was the best batsman, and Preethi earned two Player of the Match awards. The tournament was conducted over multiple days with scheduled fixtures and official scoring. It marked a significant step in promoting competitive women’s cricket within the university.
