Emergency Response Drill

An emergency response drill was conducted at NIIT University on 7 April 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM. The drill began at 10:45 AM with the sounding of a siren, whistles by security personnel, and activation of fire alarms across campus. All students, faculty, and staff evacuated their respective buildings promptly and assembled at the designated Emergency Assembly Point on the Bowl Lawn. A headcount was conducted area-wise to ensure complete evacuation.

The COO and Dean of Student Affairs briefed the participants on appropriate actions during emergencies. This was followed by a live demonstration on the use of firefighting equipment by Team GDX Securities, the deployment of a fire tender by the Neemrana Fire Station team, and casualty handling by a special rescue team. The drill was carried out smoothly and effectively, raising awareness and improving preparedness among the university community.
