The Final Word- Debsoc NU

DebSoc NU, the debating society, successfully conducted The Final Word on April 15, 2025, an interhouse competition aimed at identifying the best speaker on campus. The event featured three engaging rounds — Oration, Turncoat, and Rapid Fire with prompts — testing participants’ public speaking, spontaneity, and critical thinking skills. Daksh Bajaj, B.Tech batch of 2024  secured the first position, followed by Ojas Dasarwar, B.Tech Batch of 2022, in second place and Nehal Jaswal, B.Tech batch of 2023, in third.

In the house-wise rankings, Green House emerged victorious, with Orange and White Houses placing second and third, respectively. The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation and highlighted the growing culture of debate and discourse on campus.
