Independence Day 2025

On 15 August, 2025, NIIT University marked India’s 79th Independence Day with a flag hoisting ceremony led by Chairman R.S. Pawar, followed by the National Anthem by NU Verismo, the music club. The event included speeches by university leaders, student representatives, and the NSS Coordinator.

Cultural performances featured dances, poetry recitals, nukkad natak, and songs by students, staff, and guests. Support staff members were also felicitated by President Prof. Prakash Gopalan for their contributions to the university.

The celebration concluded with a distribution of sweets and snacks, leaving the gathering on a joyous note.
