Two NIIT University Research Papers Accepted at IEEE ICCA 2025

On August 18, 2025, NIIT University announced that two student-led research papers were accepted for presentation at the 2025 International Conference on Computer and Applications (ICCA) and for publication in the IEEE/ICCA’25 proceedings, which are indexed in SCOPUS.

The first paper, titled “A Deep Learning Approach for Early Detection of Depression from Structured Questionnaire Data,” was authored by students Yash Upadhyay and Nitesh Jha, under the guidance of Dr. Vikas Upadhyaya.

The second paper, “Stress Monitoring Using Wearable Technology,” was authored by student Sakshi Prasad, with Mr. Vikas Upadhyaya as the faculty mentor.

This achievement marks a significant milestone for the university’s focus on impactful student research and innovation, and it further strengthens NU’s contribution to the international research community.
