Blood Donation Camp at NIIT University

NIIT University, in collaboration with the National Service Scheme (NSS) and the Indian Red Cross Society, organized a Blood Donation Camp on August 26-28, 2025, at Lab-19. The event began at 10:30 AM and was supervised by a team of doctors and paramedics from the Indian Red Cross Society, ensuring safe medical procedures. NSS volunteers coordinated registrations and assisted donors throughout the day.

The camp gathered enthusiastic participation from students, faculty as well as staff, in the successful collection of over 100 units of blood. Donors were provided with medical check-ups and refreshments during recovery. The administration expressed gratitude to the Indian Red Cross Society and the NSS team for their efficient organization. The camp highlighted the importance of voluntary blood donation and strengthened NIIT University’s commitment to social responsibility.
