Workshop on Japanese Chopstick Etiquette at NIIT University

On August 26, 2025, NIIT University hosted a cultural workshop on “How to Eat with Chopsticks,” conducted by Ms. Poonam Dey, Japanese Faculty at the university. The session was held at ADH-2 at 6:00 PM and was attended by 25 students, selected on a first come, first serve basis.

The interactive session introduced students to the art of using chopsticks, offering both practical guidance and cultural insights. With chopsticks provided to participants, the workshop created an engaging environment where students experienced a key aspect of Japanese dining etiquette.

The event was well received and proved to be both enjoyable and informative, giving students an opportunity to learn more about Japanese culture in an experiential manner
