Faculty Research Publications – November 2025

Dr. Md. Abdus Salam Shaik reported two recent research publications in international journals. The first article, published in Trends in Food Science and Technology (Elsevier), examines H-aggregation–induced dual emissive carbon nanoparticles for the ratiometric detection of uranyl ions, contributing to advancements in environmental monitoring methodologies. The second article, published in the New Journal of Chemistry (Royal Society of Chemistry), explores the valorization of heterogeneous organic waste for sustainable food packaging, highlighting the potential of biopolymer-based materials within a circular economy framework. Both works underscore ongoing research efforts in nanoparticle-based sensing and sustainable material development, reflecting the university’s engagement with contemporary scientific challenges.
