Yukti Innovation Challenge 2025 – NU Teams Shortlisted

Four innovations from NIIT University were shortlisted in the first round of the Yukti Innovation Challenge 2025, organized by the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell and implemented by AICTE. The shortlisted entries include Vision Automation by Yash Upadhyay, Batch of 2022, under the Healthcare and Biomedical Devices theme, and two IoT-based innovations by Khushi Kathuria, Batch of 2023, titled ‘Passive Digital Display to Intelligent Device Converter’ and ‘Vision-Based Library Book Management Device’. Additionally, ‘DE-FAKE’, a cloud-based deepfake detection solution by Rakshit Sawarn, Batch of 2022, was also selected.

All four innovations will advance to the prototype and product demonstration stage, scheduled between November and December 2025. The selections reflect ongoing efforts under the Institutions Innovation Council (IIC) to strengthen the innovation ecosystem.
