Achievement at JU Rhythm 2026: Badminton – Women’s Singles

At JU Rhythm, hosted by JECRC University from February 25–27, 2026, Sonali Paliwal, a student of the BTech Batch of 2023 and Sports Captain of NU, showcased an impressive performance in the Badminton Women’s Singles category, securing the 2nd Position and winning a cash prize of ₹1500.

Sonali demonstrated exceptional skill and determination throughout the tournament. She began her campaign with a strong 2–0 victory against JECRC in Round 1, followed by another commanding 2–0 win over SKIT in the Quarterfinals. In a closely contested Semifinal match against Poornima, she emerged victorious with a 2–1 scoreline. Sonali advanced to the Final after a series of remarkable performances, ultimately finishing as Runner-up after a competitive match against RU.
