Republic Day Celebrated with Patriotic Zeal at NIIT University

NIIT University marked Republic Day on January 26, 2026, in the Bowl Area with great enthusiasm. The event was hosted and managed by DebSoc NU, the Debating and Elocution Society.

The celebrations began with the unfurling of the national flag by President Prof. Prakash Gopalan, followed by an inspiring address.

The cultural segment featured vibrant performances by Impetus-The Dance Society, KaviShaala-The Poetic Society, Verismo-The Music Society, Rangmanch NU- The Theatre Society and Post-Graduate banking students, showcasing the university’s diverse talent.

A special felicitation ceremony honoured the support staff for their dedication to the campus. University Captain Vasvi Nehra and Vice-Captain Manjeet Purohit also delivered motivating speeches emphasising unity and responsibility.

The event concluded on a high patriotic note, fostering a strong sense of community spirit.
