The Writer’s Trail 2.0 Ignites Creative Expression at NIIT University

Her Campus NU successfully hosted The Writer’s Trail 2.0, an inter-house article writing competition, on January 27, 2026, in  LT 211. The event aimed to bring students back to the charm of pen-and-paper writing while challenging them to think critically and creatively.

Adding an element of suspense, the theme was decided live through a spinning wheel from a curated set of topics. The final theme, “There are 2 sides of a coin,” pushed participants to explore balanced perspectives and nuanced arguments in their writing.

Beginning at 6 PM, the competition saw enthusiastic participation from students across houses, each showcasing originality, depth, and strong storytelling skills.

The Writer’s Trail 2.0 successfully fostered thoughtful expression and reminded everyone of the timeless power of the written word.
