Expert Talk by Dr Kumar Nitesh at Raffles University, Neemrana

Dr Kumar Nitesh represented NIIT University, Neemrana, as a keynote speaker at an expert talk hosted by Raffles University, Neemrana, under its School of Engineering and Technology on March 16, 2026.

The session, titled “Next-Generation Wireless Sensor Networks: Challenges, Innovations, and Applications,” focused on emerging developments in wireless sensor networks (WSNs) and their role in modern technological ecosystems. Dr Kumar Nitesh discussed key challenges, including energy efficiency, scalability, data security, and network reliability, along with recent advancements such as IoT integration, intelligent sensing systems, and adaptive communication mechanisms.

The talk highlighted practical applications of WSNs across domains such as smart cities, environmental monitoring, industrial automation, healthcare, and disaster management, emphasising their growing relevance in building efficient and sustainable systems.
