Swachhta Pakhwar

On October 1, 2023, Team NU-NSS, in collaboration with TedxNIITUniversity and with the support of NU administration, organized the “Swachhta Pakhwara 2023” cleanliness drive. This initiative was held in Neemrana Market in conjunction with the Government of India’s cleanliness campaign. Over 15 teams actively participated and interacted with the NCC cadets from MDVM Parle School.

The purpose of this cleanliness drive was to instill a sense of civic duty in the student body while bringing attention to the importance of sanitation and cleanliness. A significant amount of plastic waste, including bottles, containers, and numerous other environmentally harmful items, was gathered by the volunteers. This not only taught them about cleanliness and civic responsibility, but it also empowered them to make a difference in their community.

The extraordinary success of this cleanliness drive inspires everyone to organize similar initiatives in the future and nurtures a sense of social responsibility among NU-NSS members and NUtons.
