Hult Prize: Regional Impact Summit

Hult Prize Impact Summits are hosted every spring in more than 100 countries. The very best startups represented at each summit join an exclusive community of the top 100 Hult Prize startups and are invited to participate in the world’s largest and number one rated accelerator for impact. Team BioPure got a chance to represent NIIT University in Melbourne’s Impact Summit, on April 24th, 2021. They qualified as top 6 finalists out of 50 teams who participated from all over the globe. The Impact summit received over a million applications and selected 50 teams for the regional round. The idea of Biopure was based on producing nanotechnology-based biopolymers for affordable, reusable, and durable packaging. This ensures effective storing and packaging of food, thus reducing overall wastage.
