Management Development Programme on Export Documentation & Procedure

Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) and Centre for Innovation Incubation & Entrepreneurship (CIIE) at NIIT University in association with MSME – DFO Jaipur and Laghu Udyog Bharti – Neemrana organized a 5-day Management Development Program (MDP) during Jan 13 – 17, 2025 for MSMEs at NIIT University campus.

Introduction

Globalization has opened significant opportunities for businesses to expand beyond domestic markets. However, navigating export procedures and documentation is complex and requires a clear understanding of international trade laws, documentation protocols, and procedural intricacies. To address this need, the proposed Management Development Programme (MDP) focuses on enhancing knowledge and skills in export procedures and documentation.

Objective

The primary goal of this MDP is to equip participants with practical insights into export documentation, regulatory requirements, and procedural strategies to facilitate smooth and compliant export operations.

Key objectives include:

  • Familiarizing participants with the necessary export documents.
  • Understanding international trade terms (Incoterms) and their implications.
  • Gaining knowledge of export procedures, including shipping, customs, and payments.
  • Mitigating risks and ensuring compliance with export regulations.

37 representatives of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and other organizations participated in the event.

  • Mastery of INCOTERMS 2020 and export pricing strategies.
  • Practical insights into Letters of Credit, payment mechanisms.
  • Hands-on sessions on preparing export documentation and managing delivery orders.
  • Networking opportunities with industry experts and policymakers.

  • Participants gained practical knowledge of export documentation and procedures.
  • Enhanced awareness of global trade compliance and opportunities.
  • MSMEs were equipped to address export challenges and adopt best practices.

Duration and Schedule

  • Duration: 5 days, with 5 hours of sessions between 10:30 AM – 5:30 PM each day. Detailed schedule attached separately.
