National Education Policy 2020 aims to transform the Indian education system using various reforms. This is the first education policy of the 21st Century. It replaces the 34-year-old NPE (National Policy on Education), 1986.
Dr. K. Kasturirangan, former ISRO chairman and the current chairman of NIIT University, is the architect and leader behind the creation of the new policy.
NEP 2020 will bring in many significant changes and listed below are some of the highlights.
- Multiple Entry/Exit allowed in Higher Education with appropriate certification.
