NANHEE CHAAN
NIIT University hosted the annual Nanhi Chaan programme from 10th -14th December 2018 in which school students from all over India are selected after an essay competition. They get a chance to come and stay at NU and experience a different life in the lap of the Aravalis. The competition is conducted by the Nanhi Chaan Foundation. This year 32 students from 13 schools came to NU and stayed for 5 days in the campus, learning and imparting skills with NU faculty members and their fellow participants.
The students were divided into 3 teams: Digital Marketing, GIS and Cyber Security and were allotted project work based on their area. Apart from regular lecture sessions, the students kept working on their projects and their evenings were divided into working on their project work as well as preparing for the cultural night. On 13th December, the students made a presentation on their project work in front of University Leadership, faculty members and other participants. On the same day in the evening, participants took to stage to showcase their talent and we witnessed some enthralling performances.
The participants left NU on 14th December with lots of memories.
