siNUsoid v4 – Re:Spawn 2020

siNUsoid, the technical fest of NIIT University, collaborated with G.A.M.E.R.S NU, the gaming club of NIIT University, to organize a 2-day event, ‘re:Spawn 2020’. It was organized on 6th and 7th September 2020. The is 4th edition of their annual ‘re:Spawn’ event which is a video gaming contest that is eagerly awaited by gaming enthusiasts. This year two games were hosted, Call of Duty Mobile is for mobile gamers while Valorant was for computer gamers.

In Call of Duty Mobile, the game mode was ‘Search and Destroy’ while Valorant had ‘Casual’ game mode for the gamers to participate in. Students formed a team of 4-6 members according to the game specifications and competed with other teams to climb up the ladder to 1st position. This was an open event and saw participation from other institutes as well. The event was won by teams from other institutions.
