Dr. Gyanesh Kumar Sinha:: Patent Awarded and Research Paper Publication

Dr. Gyanesh Kumar Sinha, Professor of Management (Operations and Analytics) at NIIT University, made a significant academic and research achievement by obtaining a UK Design Patent (No. 6505383) for a Split-View Interface Screen, designed to integrate and visualise finance, human resource, and marketing data to support informed decision-making.

He also authored a research article titled Prioritizing the Energy Mix Alternatives for Power Generation in India, published in the Journal of European Economic History (2026), an ABDC-B ranked journal indexed by Scopus. The study presents a multi-criteria decision-making model developed to assess sustainable power sources in India.

His research highlights the importance of environmental standards and recommends the adoption of renewable energy sources, which can play a crucial role in shaping policy and supporting India’s long-term net-zero emission targets.
