IngeNUity 2026

The Odyssey-themed IngeNUity 2026 was successfully hosted as a three-day fest at NIIT University, honouring not only the events that took place but also the journey, development, and camaraderie required to bring the event to life. The theme elevated the fest and highlighted the importance of emotion, experience, and collective effort in its creation.

The event attracted a large turnout of approximately 2,000–2,500 attendees from multiple colleges, making the campus vibrant and energetic throughout the fest. A variety of performances, such as dance, music, street plays, and fashion parades, took place, while accompanying sports events contributed to the competitive atmosphere. The coordinated management of multiple venues and activities enabled the seamless execution of this elaborate programme.

One of the key highlights of the fest was the pro-night featuring artist Bali, followed by performances by Snehi Band and several DJ shows. Bali’s performance was particularly memorable, receiving an enthusiastic response from the crowd and creating an energetic atmosphere. The festival received positive feedback from participants and attendees, maintaining a vibrant campus environment across all three days.

Behind the scenes, the event involved effective time management, backstage coordination, multi-location management, and ensuring a smooth flow between activities while keeping the audience engaged. Funding and sponsorship were significant challenges, as securing sponsors required confirmed artist appearances, while artist confirmations depended on sponsorship support, creating a cyclical dependency. Additionally, minor coordination and logistical issues were managed efficiently as they arose.

The success of IngeNUity 2026 was a testament to the hard work and determination of the organising team: Ria Gupta, Amrita Verma, Chaitanya Joshi, Aditya Sabharwal, Rudransh Agarwal, Devas Upadhyay, and Deepesh Yadav, who worked diligently to make the fest a success. Overall, the event exemplified the value of collaboration, determination, and perseverance, leaving a lasting legacy and promoting a strong culture of student-driven innovation at NIIT University.
