On 23rd – 24th November 2018, students from two schools, Millennium School, Noida and Millennium School, Panipat, visited NIIT University under the Experience the University programme. The students were given an ‘ETU Walk through’ by Prof. V. S Rao, President, NIIT University followed by NU’s – Unique Learning with JOY Pedagogy session addressed by Dr. Rao, Dr. Parimal Mandke, Maj. Gen. A.K Singh and Dr. Sunil Khanna. Informative sessions on Fintech and Waste to Wealth by Dr. Shivendra Mathur and Dr. Gurendra Nath Bharadwaj respectively kept the visiting students and faculty members engaged while giving them new insights. Evening of 23rd November was reserved for a campus tour conducted by Maj. Gen A.K Singh and later the visiting students gathered to show their talent to the hosts as well as the visiting students.
Next day morning the students were taken for Eco Tour – Trekking, Tree Plantation, and Walk Through EAT/STP. A session by Air Cdre Kamal Singh was taken on Seamless – Story of the Soil. The visiting students gave their views on “Parents Role in your Choice of the Future” through presentations, role plays, skits and debates. It was interesting to watch these young students display such depths of insights on this topic. The programme was coordinated by Dr. Anshima P Srivastava and Dr. Chandan Medatwal.
