Christening of NU Music Society

On 30 October 2019, NU Music Society was officially renamed as “Verismo”. Verismo has its roots in an Italian literary movement in the 1800s. From this, maestro, legendary music composers such as Giacomo Puccini started a post-operatic tradition Verismo, which sought to portray the world with greater realism.
