Lecture Series by Dr. Ganesh Natarajan

‘Digital Success – A Reengineering Approach’, by Dr. Ganesh Natarajan was a lecture series consisting of 5 sessions hosted by NIIT University. Dr. Ganesh Natarajan is an Executive Chairman and Founder of 5F World, a platform for Digital Startups and Skills and Social Ventures in the country. He is also the Co-Founder of Global Talent Track, Skills Alpha, and Lighthouse Communities Foundation, and two Indo-US Joint Ventures – Kalzoom Advisors and the Center for AI and Advanced Analytics.

The first lecture of the series was delivered on June 2, 2021. In this lecture, Dr. Natarajan and his colleagues highlighted different aspects of succeeding in the digital space from the enterprise point of view and how industries transformed with the emerging digital business models.

The second lecture was on June 10, 2021, on the topic, ‘The Technologies and Process of Digitally Savvy Organisations’. It focussed on the emerging technologies, their impact on the industries’ business models, and the processes that were followed by the digital savvy organizations. 

The third lecture was delivered on June 17, 2021, on the topic ‘Design Thinking and Customer Journeys’. This lecture was conducted in a flipped model. Dr. Natarajan summarised a bunch of slides that described how Design Thinking is important for business ideas. He also focussed on customer values. At the end of the session, a question and answer session was conducted.

The fourth lecture was delivered on June 23, 2021, in which Dr. Natarajan talked about cultures and employee journeys for the topic ‘Employee Journeys, Skills and Cultures’. He talked about the ways to improve the work culture and employee journeys where a curated learning process can be created. This will help the employees become better with new skills. He also talked about how AI can play a role in this process. 

The fifth and final lecture of the series was, according to Dr. Natarajan, a synthesis of the previous four lectures and was delivered on June 28, 2021. The fifth lecture was on the topic ‘Organisation Reconfiguration, Innovation and Success Pathways’ where he described ways of reconfiguring the system and innovating to create a future-ready success path keeping in mind the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
